Tack Rag

A rag for wiping dust free surface about to receive another coat or finish. It is usually made of cheesecloth saturated with water, turpentine and varnish to make it just sticky enough to pick up dust or lint from a surface over which it is wiped. It is not wet enough to deposit moisture.
